This November, Marvel Comics is set to release an all-new solo series featuring the formidable villain, Thanos. Crafted by the talented Chris Cantwell, known for his work on "DOCTOR DOOM," and artist Luca Pizzari, recognized for "X-MEN: BEFORE THE FALL - HERALDS OF APOCALYPSE #1," this four-issue limited series promises a fresh perspective on the Mad Titan.

The narrative will see Thanos venturing to Earth, driven by a powerful motive. Standing in his way is a newly formed Illuminati, consisting of iconic figures like Mr. Fantastic, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Emma Frost, and Blue Marvel. This elite group, known for their intellect and strategy, holds a secret that could potentially unleash Thanos' unparalleled fury.

The series will explore a confrontation between Thanos and the Illuminati, with the latter being responsible for hiding something of immense value from the Mad Titan. Cantwell expressed his enthusiasm for the project, hinting at an unexpected and human-centric backdrop to the story. He amusingly mentioned a scene where Thanos hot-wires a pickup truck. Pizzari, on the other hand, shared his excitement about drawing the characters, especially emphasizing the grandeur of Thanos.

"THANOS #1" is scheduled for release on November 8th, featuring cover art by Leinil Francis Yu and a variant cover by Phil Noto that pays tribute to the classic "INFINITY GAUNTLET #1" by George Pérez.

Marvel fans can anticipate a deep dive into the psyche of Thanos and an epic showdown with the Illuminati in this upcoming series.
